Wanted to capture the stars with a single exposure. And this is the result.

These are quite cool. I havent managed to figure out the star shots yet. Must get out there one day and play a bit more.

On another note, I noticed you are new to DPS, so I send a very warm welcome to you. On another note, you may need to double check the rules on posting images in 24 hours. Would hate for the "Mods" to delete one of your posts!!

Thank you for the compliments. The star shots are very difficult indeed. If you have an exposure for about 30 seconds or more you get the star trails, but if you have a lesser exposure you won't capture their shine. The best way to do it in a single exposure would be to use a wide angle lens and a 30second exposure.
