Finally reached my 1000th post and coincidently in the 1st week of the new year. So this is my hopes and dreams to celebrate the year 2010 and my 1000th DPS post:-
1. REMEMBER OUR PAST The past is what makes us what we are today. From past experience, we make choices that will decide out future. Coincidently, photography is a way of recording the past. ![]() This village is where my late grandmother used to live. I've never visited this place since she passed away many many years ago. There's a lot of my childhood memories here. 2. PROTECT OUR EARTH Global warming, destruction of the rain forest, extinction of wildlife, we all has one hand in it. Why not use the other one to redeem? ![]() While all the other were enjoying their time playing with the visitor, this one was just sitting and watching. 3. LOVE OUR HOMELAND We always want to go to new places, see the world. But in our heart, there's no place like home. An old Malay saying (translates as), 'There might be rains of gold in other places, and only rains of stones in our homeland, it is better here in our own homeland'. ![]() This the Putrajaya Water Sport Complex. Putrajaya is one of the places that I just love to take photos and spend the weekend. 4. CHERISH OUR FREEDOM Some people, like us are very fortunate. We are free to go anywhere (to take photos), say and shares stuff (blog, photoblog), etc. We should cherish this, be thankful, and never misuse the freedom we have. ![]() This couple was freeing some birds to the wild, and later some turtles into the lake. I think it's their tradition to free animals to hope for good fortune for their future. Sparda http://digital-photography-school.co...-part-3-a.html |
