Default My first crown

Hi all,

If you had seen my first attempt at a water drop, you would know it wasn't very good So I tried again last night and I am much happier with this result (and even happier that it only took four shots to get the timing right).

Hope you like it!

Jonathan

Great job! I can never seem to be able to get one of these shots sharp. They're always blurry.

Nice shot! What is the drop hitting and what's the background?

The drop is hitting a wooden cutting board under my kitchen sink. Pretty well the whole shot is of the cutting board...the ripply effect on the background is just other drops of water.

Thanks for the positive comments!

Wow that is one cool shot! I like how the reflection makes it look like two water crowns.

That's a good shot, Jonathan. If for nothing else, the background. Very interesting. This is a "crowning" achievement!! TFS
