Default I am just way too Foxxy

Was driving down a winding road through the woods and some movement attracted my attention deep in the woods out of the corner of my eye. Had my D300 next to me with my Nikon 70-200 f/2.8 VR so I took a few quick shots. These are cropped down quite a bit as the subject was far away, even for 200mm:

Great shots, you can see he was keeping a wary eye on you even from a distance.

Cheers,

Nice redfox kirb. That's what i'm going after in a couple weeks (fox and yotes). Hope to get a few close-ups.

Next time you see one, make a squeeking noise by kissing the back of your hand and most of the time they will come right in. Be ready for a quick shot, when he sees you he'll be gone in a flash.

Oh how cool! Isn't he/she cute! What a neat capture! I've not seen foxes around here (I wish!) all we have is coyotes. How lucky for you, and what a neat opportunity!
