Default Tree in Barren Landscape

Hi. Long time lurker, first time poster.

I've been playing with my new Nikon AF-S 18 - 200mm and thought I'd share my latest. Hope you enjoy and thanks for looking.

Welcome!

I like the contrast and comp in your first. And your grass photo is sharp and pleasing.

Max, WELCOME to DPS
You wouldn't know it yet, but trees are one of my favorite subjects and these are really lovely shots. Keep shooting and sharing...you will love it here.

Thank you for the comments. I have been on other photography sites in the past and they seem very "cliquey". The time I have been lurking (about 6 months) I have found this place to be very warm and inviting. Thanks everyone!!

The first tree was shot out of my car window. The second, I actually had to get out. The grass I would have liked to see that one spot not so blown out. I guess I'm my own worst critic.

I adore both of the tree shots. Very tasteful, with lovely comp and great tones and textures. I look forward to seeing lots more
