I would guess that you have found an icicle and cleverly placed it under the tap and then very nicely eluminated it? Great shot staged or not?

I'm guessing ice. I like how there are bright sparkles of sunlight in the shadow on the wall.

Good guess Its ice.. Its not staged its like a reverse icicle that has been building for 3 days... It is actually much bigger this morning.

My neighbor has had a leaking outside spicket for 6 + months I told them about it then they have yet to fix it. However it makes a cool ice sculpture. It has been bellow freezing in Georgia for 3 days.. This is un heard of so we have some unusual things happening..

Here is the setup shot picture one

Was taken at.

Camera: Canon EOS 20D
Exposure: 0.017 sec (1/60)
Aperture: f/5.0
Focal Length: 75 mm
ISO Speed: 400

Strobist:

Vivitar DF400MZ 1/16th (Optical slave) power camera front left on ground pointed towards wall...
Canon 580EX II 1/64th (cactus v4) power shining at the base of the ice in plastic bag.

Setup on picture 2:

What it was taken at:

Camera: Canon EOS 20D
Exposure: 0.017 sec (1/60)
Aperture: f/5.0
Focal Length: 48 mm
ISO Speed: 100

Strobist:

Vivitar DF400MZ 1/16th (Optical slave) power camera left on bush pointed towards wall...
