Feed the birds

I have been digging through my photo collection looking for things to post here, this was taken with my point & shoot on the way way home from work.

There is a woman who lives near me who feeds the birds from her window every afternoon. Obviously the word gets around among the local bird population.

That is too cool. I wish we had birds like this in the wild. We had one as a pet a long time ago. Really cool pic.

Thanks Hayward, westx & Angella I appreciate the comments. They really are amazing birds the cockatoos, very intelligent and they live for up to 100 years or more.

I used to have a lovely 95 year old neighbour who had her cockie since she was a toddler. It is incredible to think of a pet that can accompany you throughout your life no matter how long you live.
