Default 5/365 - Planes and Bridges

JetBlue inbound to TPA

As part of my 365 Day Project I was going to take some pictures of the view around my office but as I was going to do that... I heard an inbound plane coming into TPA so I figured as good of photo op as any!! There is another close up as it was flying by.

Howard Franklin Morning Commute

The Howard Franklin or 275 Bridge is one of the main bridges that connects St Pete/Clearwater to Tampa. Here is a shot of the morning commute from my office. The barge has been sitting there for a while. Not sure I have seen it do anything or move in a while.

Jet Blue inbound to TPA - Morning Sunrise

Here is the plane!! Morning sunrise could be seen on the bottom.

By the way did you know on Jan 5 in history:

1885 - Dr William Grant of Davenport, Iowa, performs what is though to be the first sucessful appedectomy in the US
1896 - Utah became the forty-fifth state
2004 - Spirt, a robotic rover, lands on Mars to explore.

Great shots Nick. Love the bridge photo especially, the boat adds great effect with its color. Fun history facts too! It's not just a photography site any more!

I was wondering if anyone was going to read that. My friend bought me a book on American Patriots and there is info from each day on it. Yeah, I like the barge and the contrast it added. Oh well, back to work.

Great stuff Nick. We are all behind you on the 365. Love those bridge structures across the water in the US. This one looks to be a mile or so long. great shot. Keep it going. PAUL
