Beautiful bird, beautiful image buddy. Love the colours and detail in this lovely piece. I really like birds of prey and this is so cool, thanks for sharing it with us.

Beautiful is an understatement Brendan. My daughter bought me a full day at a bird of prey center for Christmas. In the morning I get to handle the birds as well as learn all about the work there, then lunch, then we go out and fly them in the wild. Can't wait. Hope I can get shots somewhere near as good as this one. PAUL

Beautiful he is! What a wonderful photo. His size or flying behavior might give some clues as to who he is -- but he probably won't be in my Peterson field guide to western birds!
