Just some slightly more light-hearted shots from the deployment ceremony I was at on Sunday.
Check out the floor soldier! I laughed when I saw him, I'm guessing he's the Public Affairs Officer, he was dipping & diving for shots all day & his soldiers never batted an eyelid whenever he popped up! ![]() "We will rock you": And I'm sure they will! ![]() Not sure who let number 25 in! Hey kiddo, this is Boston - no Yankees fans allowed ;-)

It is not suprising what a photographer will do for that shot. Good one Nicky.

Hehe, Mike you're right - I think all of us who post on DPS are likely to do odd things to get the shot we want! I for sure have been in some odd spots over the years trying to compose pics. I must admit though, I'm much more reserved when I'm on USO duty since I'm not officially there to take pics for USO, so I keep a much lower profile than usual.

Wonderful journalistic pictures! Come on now, I think we'd all be lieing if we said we hadn't laid on the floor a time or two to get the 'perfect' shot!
