Catch the Sun

Took this picture May last year in Singapore, while waiting for a taxi in the hot midday sun.

This was shot with a very small aperture (f/22) and high ISO (ISO800) although it was very bright outside. This is so that I can use a faster exposure (1/500s) and have the hand silhouetted against the bright sky. The reason for the small aperture is to maximize the sparkle effect. I made sure that I could see the sun through the small 'o' in my hand before I snapped.
