Default Devon - Beach and Abbey

Hi All,

Spent a few days down in Devon England for the New Year, whilst there we didn't get much of a chance to do much photography as we didn't want to be anti social with our friends... I managed to get to the beach and Abbey... Here's a quick sample I thought i'd share:

Thanks Tim, Yes, I tried out my new 5D, but still getting to grips with it... I don't like some of the default settings.

Happy New Year! That first photo is stunning - I could look at it all day long. The other two are nice, too, but I really like the first one!

Love the beach sunset/rise shot. That is a true classic, and a prizewinner for me. Thanks. PAUL

Gary, you've started 2010 with some fabulous shots for us! Happy New Year! The Abbey photos are gorgeous, what a lovely building, & lovely lighting you captured. And your beach shot is perfect - it has everything - fabulous sun shining through the trees, lovely silhouetting at the horizon in the distance, & I love the crisscross markings on the beach. Beautiful job.

Excellent set! I really like the B&W and the sun filtered through the trees. The composition and detail in the other two are perfect!
