Default I'm Back...and Ready for 2010

Okay... talk about some MAJOR DPS Withdrawls! I've been gone for way too long and I've missed all of you so very much. My year ended with a BANG... and then Boom I went flat on my back with a horrible cold. But I'm back and ready for 2010!

Here are some shots I took with my new Canon T1i... Got a new camera for Christmas...so exciting! It's like being 5 all over again!

It's really late here at the moment so I'll post these shots and check back with everyone when I wake up... I have LOTS of catching up to do!

I hope everyone is well and starting off the New Year with a BIG SMILE!

Take care and thanks for looking!

This was taken early New Years Morning... we went to Sandy's to meet up with our Aikido Club for Misogi and to have some Soba and watch the sunrise... it was a perfect way to start my 2010
Waves Crashing... Sun Rising

Connor greeted everyone and the New Year with a black eye (which you can't see here, but if you go on my flickr page I'm sure there's one in there to see), bad hair, and lots and lots of bubbles

Went to the Valley of the Temple to visit my grandfather's niche and rang this bell for good luck
Ringing in the New Year

Last but not least... Here's the bridge leading to the temple

Welcome back Nikki, you are starting the New Year with a bang also! Love all of these shots. Good perspective and composition on all of them.

Hi Nikki! Hahaha..your sentiments are very much similar to my earlier post..talk about similar fate! just got back yesterday and felt the major DPS withdrawal during the holidays..i was down with flu too but I am back on my feet now..

I love your set! The touch of lavender in the sky is fabulous and the perspective of the red bridge is simply elegant..i love Connor’s shot most..so heartwarming..(sorry to hear about the black eye though)..

Happy New Year!

Awesome shots Nikki! I've missed you, I was wondering how you were. Hope you had some fun over the holiday, although you at least seem to have enjoyed New Year. Love the comments behind the photos. The matching T-shirts in the 2nd photo is great! LOVE your beach shot. Congrats on the T1i -I adore mine.

Hi Nikki! Welcome back and happy new year. I'm glad you have a new toy to play with Those are great shots. I LOVE the bubbles in the second picture. And the detail in the third and perspective in the fourth are fabulous. Can't wait to see more as you explore with your new camera.

Well done, Nikki! Enjoy your new camera. all of these are good, and I especially like the "sparklies" in your third shot.
