Early 1900's photo restore.
Someone asked me to try to restore a picture of their father from way back when. See what you think and comments will be greatly appreciated. TFL

Great restore Jamie. Only thing I would say is (for me anyway) that it needs to be lightened a bit to keep in with how faded the image would be for the age. Not lightened too much but just a bit more or even turned sepia. Other than that, its a fantastic restore. Congrats. Hope they are pleased with it as I would be.

Hi Jamie, you have done a good job of cleaning up the damage, I have had a go at restoring a few old pictures and it is hard work.
The face looks like it could do with a few more goes with the healing brush and the whole picture looks a bit too dark to me. One more thing that struck me while looking at it is that the dark border looks out of place somehow, maybe because it is more often seen on modern pictures. I think an old fashioned white border would look better on a vintage photo, but that's just my opinion. All in all, a good job so far but I definitely think you should brighten it up a bit.
