Default Snow in Scotland

Never finished posting my Africa series as only just finished sorting through them but here are some totally different images from Xmas & New Year in snowy Scotland

This first one carries on the theme that seems to be hitting the forum of "catching the light"

DSC_0102

This is my personal favourite

DSC_0109

This is the landscape and sky in a totally different light

DSC_0170

Thanks for looking

These look familiar Love the sun glinting through the trees, the colours and light are just sublime in each shot. Have to say your 1st image is a work of art. Love the detail in it.
David.

I have to say the second is my favourite too, you can almost see every individual crystal and I love the sparkle you get from the suns rays hitting the snow.

Those are beautiful shots. I love the second one - it is so glittery and cold, I can feel the air in my lungs.

love the first one but love the 2nd one better....great use of light and shadows in the curves of the snow and all topped off with the iced grasses and a distant background
