Default Robins at the Nature Reserve

Hi everyone and a Happy New Year to you all. I went out to see a nature reserve that my sister told me about yesterday. it was a nice day with the sun shining but the temperature never got above freezing all day. Brrr!! Good opportunity to try out the new Nikon D5000.
The little Robins were out posing in the sun, so I thought I would make the most of them. I hope you enjoy the lttle Robins. They look even better in the large size.

I'm not looking at your camera any more!!

Those bird shots are really terrific with some great bokeh going on in the background...I don't ever seem to get close enough to them to get shots like that

What a lovely nature reserve Dave. Sounds like it was just the ticket for you to enjoy a relaxing day out with the camera gear. Those robin pics are fantastic. Just beautiful, and so sharp. Gorgeous colors created by the depth of field, love them all! Must be seen large too.

Hi Dave! I guess Santa was good to you? I love the robins - the third shot, especially. The pose and look you captured on the little guy is perfect.

Beautiful shots Dave. I really like the detail in the feathers and the colors. Bokeh is sweet.

Hi David,
These are truly awesome images and ones I would be so proud to own. The detail, colours and composition are smashing. I love the middle image of the robin, you just know it's sussing you out.....
Now you know what I am going to have to go and do tomorrow...
Thanks for sharing these lovely images.
David.
