Default Spare us a thought this year

Yesterday I helped out at a Deployment Ceremony for the MA Army National Guard who are sending 650 soldiers to Afghanistan over the next couple of weeks. Their biggest deployment since Sept 11th, 2001.

Keep them in your thoughts over the coming year, as well as the rest of our brave folks across the world who protect us so well, & those who have served previously.

As always too, very special thoughts for those who we've lost, and for their families.

Join me in prayer

Hi ya Nicky,
good to see you on here again. Have to say I found your image both powerful and emotional, it's odd as I have been out today taking photos of the wintry scenes around where I live and I was going to put an image on here in a bit which is not too far from the same subject. So if it's ok with you I will place it here in Honour of both US and UK Forces who are still laying their lives on the line for us everyday. I hope my image might hit the spot the way yours did with me.

Still The Sacrifices Go On
The Sacrifice Goes On

God Bless and Take Care Sweetie.
David.

Well, when i look at this picture, i can only think of separations, fights, deaths, and the likes. I only pray that they will come back healthy to their loved ones.

A very moving photo...It brings so many thoughts to mind...i can only imagine how the families feel to have their sons and husbands etc going off to fight. My prayers are with them and the brave and wonderful men and women who fight for our freedom..May God watch over you and bring you home safe and may the good Lord give peace and comfort to their families...a wonderful photo.
