Default Have you seen bark like this?

I took these almost 2 years ago, and had completely forgotten about them. This tree is one of the most unique things I've ever captured. I love the texture, patterns and detail of the bark.

You have done well at capturing the fantastic detail in the bark.

Fabulous shot of the bark, that is really something. Does anybody know what tree it is?

What's the white thing on the other tree? It looks like a low-flying chicken with twigs for legs hit the top of a dead tree at some speed. I could be wrong

Ha, that is funny...I couldn't tell right away what it was either...at first I thought a white garbage bag was hung up in the tree. The first shot could easily be framed.....wish we had some of those trees.....whatever they are.
