Default Comin' round the corner when she comes....

This is the second shot in my 365 photo project. I am trying to use this project as a tool to improve not just my photography skills, but also to improve my post production abilities. This shot was filtered using water paper in photoshop. I think that it added some depth to the original photo. Enjoy!

is this up by the eel river? and if it is, do the tracks go over an old wooden bridge not far from there?

that looks exactly like a place i camped for a night on a canoe trip i did last summer.

cool shot btw, i like it.

This is actually taken in Capitola, CA, but there is an old wooden train trestle that leads to this spot. I am glad you liked the photo.

I think the post editing you did is perfect. The photo is eye catching and makes me want to go around that corner to see what's there!

Love the curve of the tracks. Leads the eye through the photo.

I've gotta be honest with you, I have no idea. I was just playing around with photoshop and I thought this looked pretty good, so I went with it. If you want to find it, it is under the filter header at the top, then under the sketch filter.
