Default first time venturing outside all year

ok yeah, so the year has only been three days long so far...

it has been ridiculously cold here... it hurts to be outside, but i decided to venture out and see if i could get any photos of anything.

Very cool shot ( no pun intended ) Is that some sort of old fort or prison ? Neat stonework and iron gate ...

Ohhhh, I LOVE this!! Love the stonework, gates, steps - everything! Where is it? I am just a sucker for old places/ruins/architecture/anything old .... like castles....

its actually just leads from a road up to the university of kansas campus... its old, original limestone they used all over campus. i like it because it reminds me of an old castle too.
