Default Cold weather = editing practice

Just working on my editing since it is so cold. Working hard on a workflow and getting a more natural looking sharpening. Also playing with b&w, which is really hard to do with gimp. Let me know what you think of the b&w (honest opinion good or bad).

PrimeTime - I know it's quite easy to over-sharpen photos of animals. But I don't think you need to worry - your photos of the great blue and ground hog look sharp and natural.

For your landscape photos, I wish I knew enough to comment, other than to say I like them.

Great shots...great work...the b/w is really good in my opinion, for what it's worth

Nice work though on your shots.

Stunning work. Of the 2 roads with the houses, my pic would be the one with color. I love beautiful country roads....nice job.

I can't choose between the colour & b&w, both are great!
The bird (great blue?) is the one that really draws my attention though, absolutely stunning, wish I could take a great shot like that one!

Awesome shots. Love them all. Guess my fave would have to be the ground hog. So cute! (Dont get them in NZ so they cute to me!! LOL). I think the b&w is great, but also the one with colour. Only thing I would say is that (to me anyway) it feels slightly crooked? Perhaps a slight straighten? Maybe its just the way I am looking at it or its just the slope of the land. But, dont get me wrong - they are fantastic shots!!!!! Well done and thanks for sharing. Hope your weather brightens up soon for a trip outside.

The great blue heron is wonderful! I like the rest of the set, too, but the heron is definitely my favorite. Just great!
