Was visiting a friend in Michigan yesterday who's backyard is Lake Erie. This time of year the lake freezes and ice piles up on the shoreline. It's not frozen solid just yet, but another week or two of cold temps should allow for ice boating activities.
This shot is looking north to the Detroit Edison power plant in Monroe Michigan. The smoke is moving east with a very cold east wind (water vapor, not pollution) ![]() This shot looks south down the icy shoreline looking like shards of broken glass
