Default Portrait of a dummy

I was on the way home from the camera shop recently trying out my new Canon G11 and spotted this interesting looking dummy in the window of a second hand clothing shop. This was taken at night, through glass with no flash.

I bought the G11 as a back up for my Pentax K20D because I always want to have a camera with me. It is a fabulous little camera, I can highly recommend it.

That was at night through the window?! Looks like a studio shot! Nice!

Thanks, yes I was surprised when I got home to find no evidence of the glass. The shop had spotlights so I guess that explains the lighting.

Thanks Jamie, it was just a quick snapshot while walking down the street. That is exactly why I bought the camera, you never know when a photo opportunity will pop up and, no matter how keen a photographer you are, it is not easy to carry around a full sized camera.

I think it was good karma that this was virtually the first picture taken with a camera bought for this reason.

Cheers,

Gerard
