On New Years Day each year the Mummers march. Luckily on this day it didn't rain. Hope everyone has a safe happy new year!

Great series of images. I always though the Mummers Day Parade was on Thanksgiving.

On Thanksgiving a couple groups march but News Years Day is the big official parade. There are hundreds of groups and they have competitions for each class group. I like to watch for the spectacle of it all. Sometimes the crowd is more entertaining than the parade!

Nice shots! I think the first is my favorite because of the glowing effect, but they are all great. That must have been such fun to photograph!

It was a lot of fun. I also took some shots with my new Holga. Can't wait to see how those come out. Thanks for commenting Martha!
