Well, I faced head-on some of the challenges of this project this morning. Woke up late, need to take the tree down, want to run and have to work in 3 hours. Not a lot of time to take my picture of the day! So, I went the self-portrait route because I dyed my hair black three days ago, so that's something new. The reaction from people I know to my black hair has been somewhat startling. I am a little tired of being stared at - I had no idea people would think it is such a drastic change, a different me, even. It is an interesting lesson.

Wonderful self portrait.
The B&W is the perfect choice for this capture.

I love the "I am woman, hear me roar" quality to your shot. Very nice and I like the dark hair. I once had dark hair and then I didn't.

Beautiful portrait Martha, your skin looks so lovely too. And black hair is great for you, love it. It's funny how people get so used to seeing us a certain way & find it difficult to cope with change.
