Default Chalkie's pick of 2009...

I thought I'd follow the pack and submit what I consider to be possibly my favourite shots of 2009. Not necessarily the most techniquely perfect or breath-takingly unique, but the ones that really mean something to me personally.

My best mate...heart of gold and going through a really bad patch at the moment.

This one picture captured our Sri-Lankan vacation perfectly and will remain a favourite for years to come.

Included purely because of this creatures incredible beauty.

The love of my life...oh, and partner too!

Four great shots, a beautiful partner, a good friend, memories of a good vacation and that beautiful hawk. TFS

Love the photos.

Hey after the, "The love of my life...oh, and partner too!" jazz, I think your partner is going to send you to sleep with the love of your life. LOL

A wonderful set, Chalkie! I think my favorite is the fourth -- such a beautiful portrait with wonderful expressions on both faces!

Challkie these are all stunning images, each with a lot of feeling...that is evident.
Although I love them all...I have to say the last one gets my vote. Amazing portrait.
