Happy new year to you all fellow photographers, It's been fun checking out what everyone has been upto over the holiday period. Me, I've been off on my holidays in New Zealand with my lovely girlfriend (whos pic of Milford Sound she shared here a couple of weeks ago).
This image I am sharing with you is of Lake Tekapo, a lake which is fed by glacial melt which is the basis of why the water is this surreal shade of blue. We were here about 3 weeks ago whilst on our camper van tour of NZ's south island. I hope you enjoy my new years offering! hehe :0)

What a spectacular shot, love the wild flowers in the foregorund and the stunning coloured water. I live in the North Island and have only been to ChristChurch, SI, but after seeing this shots and others on DPS hubby and I are planning a trip down this year.
