My Own Project365

I decided to take it upon myself to try out the 365 day project. I know it'll be hard and I know my photos aren't very good, but I thought I'd share them with you all. If anyone would like to comment along the way, that would be great. I'll need all the encouragement I can get.

I'll be adding a new image every day to my website.

Great shot! Welcome to DPS too. Love your website and portfolio, you definitely have lots of talent. I'm doing the 365 project too, as are a few other DPS members, so you'll have plenty of moral support if nothing else! I haven't joined a group, I'm just going it alone, mostly as a fun way of keeping a photo-diary, of the year with the ultimate aim that my photographic thought processes will be altered for the better!

I wouldn't put yourself down about your photos either. I thinking of taking on the 365 project as well.. I usually take a picture everyday anyways. I am also doing something similar, but with a bit of a twist.

I'm going to be taking a self portrait every Friday, (which happens to be the first day of the year this year) and posting them.. I just havent chosen a photosharing site yet. Any ideas? I think this site might even work for me.

welcome to DPS and all the best for your project. This is a great start - I like the perspective., the way you have angled the roads leading the eyes into the picture, and the colours in the sky. Where is this photo taken?

I thought about doing that also. As far as photo sharing sites, I've really only used Flickr, but it's been great so far. You get 100mb of free uploads a month.
