A Lunar Eclipse on the last full moon for the year 2009 as it makes it's descend behind the Talkeetna Mountains in Alaska.

Look at that cozy moon shining over your cold, cold landscape. Wow, Ron, that is stunning. Wasn't it great way to start a new year with a full moon? One thing I like about your moon compared to mine is that yours is not photoshopped in, it's actually real! Funny, I hear the song Polkadots and Moonbeams which doesn't seem to match your photo but here it is, nonetheless. Thanks, Ron. Seeing your photo was such a treat.

Thank you Linda, I'm curious about what your eye must see there in the desert at night when all that shines is a full moon. Must be pretty.

That's a fantastic moon shot, love the contrast with the snow covered mountain. TFS.

I love your shot, but I hate you because here I can't see the Moon since 2 weeks...It's always raining, dammit.
