Fun With New Reversing Ring

Santa gave me a reversing ring, but - strangely - it arrived yesterday from Adorama.

I've done close up shots before, but never macro. With this reversing ring and my 28mm lens, I understand that 2x magnification is the result.

So, I feel now like I did when I first got my SLR and could get bokeh for the first time. A whole new way to take photos.

These are from yesterday and were my way of exploring this whole macro thing. No crops to any of these.

Okay...so this song popped into my mind when I started reading first and then saw your very cool images. So, naturally I went to You Tube to find a rendition of the song and I did.
