Default Happy New Year - giant candy coloured sparklers!

Happy New Year to everyone involved with DPS. I thank you for welcoming me to DPS, and for your comments about my posts. I really do appreciate each and every one of you, and the inspiration you give me daily to do better.

There is a Chinese saying....
"It is not what life does to you that is important, but what you do with what life does to you".

So in 2010 celebrate living and all that is precious in your life. Do the very best with the special gifts life has given you. Live every day to fullest. And tell those you love that you love them.

Happy New Year and all the best best to you all in 2010. Here are 3 different slants on the same image.....

...tell those you love that you love them.
Yes, do that. At every opportunity. You never know...

There is a Chinese saying....
"It is not what life does to you that is important, but what you do with what life does to you".

And it is probably condensed into four characters!

Great fireworks shot to start with. Then your famous 'globe' treatment, lovely. I really like the last one, turns fireworks into flowers or grasses. Nicely done and thanks for sharing it with us.

Jill, these are just wonderful! I do such minimal PP so it's very fun to see what an expression of artistry it can be. And your New Year's sentiments are lovely too. I wish you much joy in 2010, and many more beautiful photos!

thanks everyone for your lovely comments - I am glad you enjoyed the set.

Actually I do very little PP - I don't like to fiddle - but I really love the effect of "digital swirling" (and they make great greeting cards) and the inverse effect was actually come about by accident!
