Default My favorites of 2009....among many....how does one choose??

First, a diversion! Many of you do not believe that I have been shooting for only about a year and a half. I bought a small camera so my son and I could go hiking without carrying all of the weight....so I bought a small Canon sd770IS. Some of the results of this camera with its excellent color capture and saturation and the use of the Canon Zoombrowser software for minor enhancements is what really got me going.........20,000 pictures later, we arrive at the present! So while I dig up some favorites for the calendar 2009, enjoy these shots from my point and shoot which kick started my love for capturing all that beauty out there. There were taken in October of 2008...the true beginning of my photographic journey.....1st shot is #361 for that new point and shoot......all of these were taken in the Smoky Mtns in the 1st week of camera ownership. Check back here a little later....I'll dig up some "favorites" to post here.

Nice captures Patrick, love the view from the top with the fluffy clouds and those beautiful autumn colours in the second, thanks for sharing, also enjoyed your shots from 2009, look forward to lots more in 2010, and a happy new year to you and your family, cheers Steve.

20,000 pictures in just eighteen months, thats some going, my favourite here is the first one, an excellent image from high in the Smokey Mountains.
Happy New Year Patrick, and good luck compling your 2009 calendar, I hope it includes at least one of your many outstanding ladybird pictures.

Wonderful Patrick...the first two are really fabulous. You have so many gorgeous shots and live in such a wonderful area that it would be impossible to pick favorites.
