Just a few of my first attempts at Macro photography.
I am still playing around with the settings and reading the camera's manual to understand lighting, shutter, exposure and other issues. Mark |

Obviously,I didn't take the one of Bear and Me, it was taken by a friend several years ago with his daughters diggi SLR. I couldn't believe he brought it on the stream with us--bad things often happen to cameras on the stream; thus the reason I bought my Optio W80 for fishing pics.
I plan to continue trying to improve my photographic skills--currently non-existent. I work at Appalachian State University and I am presently finishing up my MPA and I think I just might see if ASU offers any photography classes. I got the best of all worlds, as a staff member I get two classes a year for free and a master level classes only cost me around $350, if I decide to take more than the two classes currently offered for free (used to get three free classes, but the economic downturn caused cutbacks). I'm 51, but I still love taking classes--no kids or wife, so my priorities change with my changing interests! Take care and thanks for the encouragement! Mark Last edited by Mark H.
