Default Lake Superior - (experimenting with slow shutter speed)

Here are a couple of pictures I took recently while experimenting with longer exposure. I had to wait until it was almost completely dark before I got anything that i liked. The shutter speed for each was around 25 seconds.

Thanks for looking. Any suggestions on improvement would be appreciated.

I really like the first one! Maybe more sky or something in the second, not sure but there's some pink peeking that might have been interesting to include more? TFS!

Thanks for comments everyone. Unfortunately, I had to crop quite a bit of the second one because of some water spots on the lens I didn't see until I got home.

Great shots! The first is awesome! I love the mystery the slower shutter speed gives it.

Nice shots, Nick! I have also been playing with darkness and slow shutter speeds. It's a lot of fun, and when they're captured properly (hard to focus in the dark!), the shots come out really cool! Thanks for sharing these!
