Some of my Soccer shots. I had to take most of them at night under poor lighting.
The two night ime shots posted here were taken at the opening night of a high school tournament heavy rain and 38 degrees outside I was shooting from under an umbrella. everyone was miserable... On top of the weather and poor lighting i was shooting a Sigma 50-500 mm tele with an f/ 4-6.3 maximum aperture... iso 3200 Last edited by dhparsons; 12-30-2009 at 10:00 PM. |

These are great! You were able to catch the action perfectly, and this is no easy task! I have been an avid shooter in the game of soccer..soccer being my favorite sport. I know how hard it is to capture these type of shots. Nice job! Thanks for sharing!

I like the rainy ones as they look like my idea of a real game of football. I used to love playing in the rain.

Only about 10 parents watched the match and the boys were soaking wet and playing thier hearts out. That match will always be one of the most memorable I have ever photographed. Thanks for you observation |

Great shots, especially the 2nd. Great work, considering the conditions.
