Default Vacation to the Pacific Northwest

Jennifer and I took a trip to the Pacific Northwest to celebrate me graduating from Nursing School. Here are some of the shots that I took let me know what you think.

I was trying to get a classic feel to this one.
Cherub

Trying a little bit of a different perspective on a classic.
King Eyes

Trying some framing of the castle.
Fenced Castle

The Wife waiting for me to finish taking pictures at Cannon Beach.
Lonely Beach

Thanks for looking.

Scott, all nice shots, but I really love the last two. Beautiful peaceful feel to the last one.

I love the shot of Canon beach. I live in the Portland area, and I have yet to capture haystack rock, or any coastal shot for that matter, that I am happy with! What are the other places? I don't recognize them. Your shots are beautifully captured, and love your compositions, especially the last two. Glad you enjoyed the PacNW. TFS!

I think that coast shots are tough. I took a bunch of shots and quite a few were crap. Keep at it and you will get some that you are happy with. The other 3 shots are of Thornewood Castle. It's a little south of Seattle. I highly recommend it. The PNW is a great place.

Here are a couple more photos from the trip.
Pike's Place sign.
Public Market

Another Cherub.
Cherub II

The sun seen through some trees in Ecola Park just outside of Cannon Beach.
Sunny Trees

Indian Beach looking south while the sun was setting.
Ocean Rocks

I was thinking about putting some of these up for sale let me know what you think.

congratulations on your graduation. I really like the framing on the third one - and the peaceful scene and colours of walking along the beach. Also the very last in your last post of Indian Beach.
