Taken yesterday with my canon ixus 80is.
The standard of photos on here is incredible,so exuse me for posting these up. What I would really like to learn is how you see and compose these shots as you walk around town. Thx for looking. Gary |

Gary, WELCOME to DPS and Merry Christmas
Your first shot seems tilted , but other than that is pretty good. Now the tilting in the second one for me, works very well...but I am no expert, that is my personal opinion. I really like it.

Welcome to DPS Gary. I like these a lot, the second one is like an advertising poster with the tilting effect. I look forward to seeing more from you.

Hi thanks for you replies. I had the camera down low and tilted backwards to get the height of the buildings.I am not sure in the first one whether the black and white building is leaning anyway as it is a very old pub called The Shambles. Is there a better way to capture tall biuldings other tham shoot low and tilt bacwards? apart from move further away.I guess I am limited as the camera is point and shoot.
I am very encouraged with your replies though as to be fare I took loads of photos yesterday and these were the best 2. Thx Again. |
