Default Your *favourite* shot of 2009

I submitted what I thought was my *best* shot for the assignment, but my *favourite* is this one:

elephant

I was at the local zoo shooting animals, and while I was there they happened to be taking Lucy for her daily walk through the zoo. I got several great shots of her as she walked right past me more than once! this one I love because of the angle and how it looks like she's coming right towards me (actually she was!).

What's your favourite shot of 2009 (not necessarily your "best")?? Post them here!

That is a tough call. This first one I just took yesterday, but it may be my favorite. I really like these two others - but I am sure I am missing lost of other gems:

Winter Sunset at Shongum Lake NJ _ASC7205

Early Morning Sunlight in the Fog _ASC4923

I'd probably say this one of Niece:

The detail in the eyes is amazing, so I think this is probably my best portrait yet.

This made me go back through my shots. Brought back heaps of memories. Its amazing how long it takes to go through a relatively small amount of images when you are reliving every moment. Here are a few of my favourites. I picked them not because they are great shots (which they aren't) but because of the emotion and memories they brought back. Thanks for making me look back

Who's there

my two boys

Guess the cheeky one

I've pared it down to 4!

It's hard - I've taken better photos than these, but these are amongst my "bests" this year as well. I think it's because just this year I've found some talent and motivation in something besides writing - so some of my bests are some of my favourites. I'll link smalls to make this shorter.

My daughter at her first pre-school dance recital. This is the most daring I've gotten with PP.

My middle daughter in the middle of summer looking down over the park through a fence. My first portrait I did that I was really proud of.

It took hot work in all my motorcycle gear to make friends with this little guy. I love the DOF in his portrait.

Fall became winter very quickly this year and I got a neat shot of this flower covered in frost. It's one of my favourites because it's so opposite feeling.
