I tried to find you six white boomers - but I think they are up in Darwin getting ready for Santa. It's an Aussie Christmas song - here is the chorus. (ps "boomers" are kangaroos by the way....)
Six white boomers, snow white boomers Racing Santa Claus through the blazing sun Six white boomers, snow white boomers On his Australian run. I have been thoroughly enjoying everyone's winter photos - one of these days I hope to enjoy a white Christmas - it's on my list of things to do. Our Christmas in Australia is very different to what you experience in the northern hemisphere. So I thought I would send you a little bit of Aussie Christmas in the sun. Also I would sincerely like to thank you for welcoming me to DPS, for looking at my posts and commenting on my photos. I have very much enjoyed "stepping out into the light", and showing you some of my photos. Revealing yourself is always a risk - so I very much appreciate your feedback. I am sorry if I haven't commented on all of yours, but unfortunately sometimes life takes over - there are not enough hours in the day. It is nearly midnight here now! Anyway, THANK YOU EVERYONE. You have all inspired me to step out and try new things and extend my photography. Have a wonderful Christmas, cherish the time spent with those you love, and take care. Have fun and enjoy life........... (my young friend having fun on the beach and playing with the camera)
Spend time with those you love....... (Mandalay Beach, southern Western Australian coast)
Enjoy life's infinite beauty..........(This is the Australian native Christmas tree)
Appreciate everything wonderful in you life and being alive ............... (just a little bit of fun with my Christmas lights.....)

Thanks Jill, I really like #1 and #2. The second shot of the beach scene is exceptional, good perspective and composition.

Too hot to look at! It's 35° here and no beach for miles and miles! I'm going back to looking at the snow pictures.
![]() Thanks for sharing. That long beach shot is a winner.
