Default First attempt at night shooting....and a quick moon shot...

Angela and I went to a street in Hamilton NZ where most of the street sets up their Christmas lights all over their house's. Angela had her faithful Nikon D90 and mono pod and I had my trusty old beach and crab point and click with no mono or tri pod. It was click click click for about an hour around 9.00 pm day light saving time and I managed to capture these, no flash and hand held including the quick moon shot. ( moon shot was cropped and tweaked a bit) All shots were taken at 1600 iso and the moon shot at total full 12x optical/digital zoom. This is the first time I have shot at night, I hope you like them cheers Steve.

The moon really is made of cheese! Great shots with the hand-me-down, but you gotta get her to share... "What's yours is ours and what's mine is mine!"

Excellent esposure on all of these, Steve. I'd say your first attempt went very well.
