Default A window and an Alps Panorama...of sorts

Ooohhhh! Exciting stuff!! NOT!

I was pouring through a few pics from my trip to the Austrian Alps. These shadows were very striking to me, so I thought I'd try to find a couple I could stitch together. Here's the result. You really had to be there to appreciate its splendor!! Thanks for looking! I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!!

Alps Pano
Check out the large size for some amazing detail!

...and another b/w from my Eching farmhouse series. (added after a few comments were left in this thread)

...and here's a random window...very simple, but I thought with the right composition, it would be very attractive. I was waiting for my ride and saw this simple, rural house across the street in the booming Eching, Bavaria metropolis! Hope you like!

Another beautiful panorama Jim. Your photo is stunning, although I know exactly what you mean - nothing can replace being there & seeing it first hand. I love the window photo too - it is simple, but it's beautiful, the fence is a great complement. Fun selective coloring too!

shot of the Alps is very detailed, good contrast and deep shadows..nice one! I think the window shot shows good composition, I also like the smooth texture you have going too, well done Jim!

Sort of like the Grand canyon, no matter how many shots you see, it doesn't really prepare you for the splendor of it...and the awesomeness of the size.
These are lovely and I have so enjoyed seeing the shots of your trip. Thanks for sharing them and have a ver Merry Christmas
