Default The Olympic Flame comes through our City

The flame came through Burlington on it's way to Vancouver. I had a chance to be up front and get some pictures. These are just quick shots, nothing fancy. Just wanted to share the moment with everyone. It was exciting to see so many people out to cheer on the flame. A proud moment for all Canadians celebrating the 2010 Olympic Games held in Vancouver, Canada.

You say nothing fancy Tamcry but it is part of the history of your country that you can now reflect upon with far more accuracy for having these captures. And something we would never have witnessed without you posting. Thanks and merry Christmas. PAUL

Nice shots, Tamcry. I love the passing of the torch. I was fortunate enough to get close up and personal in China on it's way to Beijing.

I wonder what they do with the torches after the relay is over?? Would make a great souvenir, eh?? TFS

Each person who gets the opportunity to carry the flame get to purchase their torch. The cost is $400.00 but it would be worth it for the memories.

Thanks Paul. It was very exciting and I was so glad to be able to see this part of the journey of the Flame. All the best to you and your family. Looking forward to an other year of "clicking".
