Default wrestling shots, first time action shots with new camera

Well, I finally got to use the camera for the main purpose I bought it for. Here are a few shots from the wrestling tournament yesterday. I was using my D90 from the bleachers with standard gymnasium lighting. My lense is an AF 18-270mm. No flash was used very little editing was done, these are not even cropped.

Definately not a sport I would participate in! Looks too rough for this Kiwi!
Great images though. TFS.

As a wrestler myself for 6 years those bring back some memories. The lighting turned out great for gymnasium lighting. Are you going to do any cropping on them?

Once I can get some more time to sit down and work on these I will get some of the really good ones cropped and touched up. I have about 800 shots from the tournament with all the weight classes. I love doing the sports shots and really dialing in the intensity of the situation that is happening on the mats. Once I can get the time, those really special ones will show up here for everyone to see. Thanks for all the really good words from those that have posted. More work coming on its way.
