A snow covered cabin in the park. I need to study beaches work a little closer........he makes landscapes look so easy
It took a few shots , but i came up with something i liked. Talk about a bear to straighten. I got a good lesson on the perspective tool. This was shot at 10mm and the trees on both sides of the road were leaning in crooked because of the wide angle. Very useful tool with a wide lens.

You have done a great job at keeping the trees straight, very hard to do sometimes. I love log cabins and this is a great shot of one.

What does it mean when a photo leads one to think of poetry? For me, it means that the photo is both itself and yet hints at a larger more archetypal meaning. Isn't that what Steve does so well? PT--this is beautiful on all levels both technically and artistically. And here's the last stanza of the poem it evoked:
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.

Wonderful photo, Prime Time. I love the angles of the roads, and the way the cabin is dwarfed by its surroundings. Just beautiful with the snow, the winter light and the subtle colors. Thanks for sharing it!

Very nice, PT. I gotta learn that trick to remove the wide angle distortion. TFS
