Default LiLy the StIcK CaTcHeR/DeCeAsEd BiKeS and a BoTAnICaL

Hi all
I have been out shooting for a Flickr group called Oxford Deceased Bicyces, and yes you did read that right lol!!. There are so many abandoned bikes here its impossible to calculate, although the police would know this as they have a huge room in St Aldates police st. I went there a few years ago tracing a stolen bike, i was staggered!!
Its kinda sad to see all these bikes left about but at the same time its hard to find somewhere to park your own up now.The first is called the shadow of doom due to my shadow on the wall, and because i know its going to get it soon.yes i am wearing a Russian hat!!
The second belongs to a local organic food cafe that passed on some time ago but it was worth a crack!!.

The city always has its regular Big Issue sellers a magazine for the homeless folk to sell and make some cash. I came across this one today with his dog Lilly a young Welsh Border collie, her speciality was -well catching sticks!!.Thanks for the entertainment Lily, the Demon stick catcher
Keep scrolling down as i have added some more in an attempt to beat the Organic Thread before the years out lol!!

The last is a shot i took l in the Botanicals(sounds a bit painful lol!!).
thanks
mike

Mike, I like the textures on the Wall of Doom and that is one crazy dog! I can't imagine all those bicycles laying around. It seems like you could easily make a bike out of all the parts.

Another awesome set Mike, I never know what to expect when I open your threads (yes, in spite of their titles), but I do know they're always going to be great. These are brill - I agree, the Lily shot with the passer-by doing a double-take is my favorite, but the others are so cool. The bike story fascinates me - had no idea about the abandoned bikes situation down your way. Great shots of them though. I do think your DPS family needs one of you in your Russian hat though.....
