Default More Monterey: Black & brights

Due the the 8-10" or snow that seems to have slowed things down on the north east coast this morning, I'll not be too active until the roads are cleared a bit. I've already dug out my car at least, & now thought I'd share a few more snippets of Monterey. So here is my 3rd installment for you - nothing too exciting, but just the kind of day to day scenes that I enjoy capturing.

You'll remember the divers from my 1st thread - here are a couple of them just going in. Fools......I get a kick out of this pic because I enjoy seeing the 4 little bobbing heads top left!
Divers at the Coast Guard Pier

I like the bright colors here, & I wonder what the birds were thinking about the kayakers?
Kayakers & some wildlife around the harbor

Not your average "Cannery Row" pic! I just liked the early evening shadows on this hotel wall as I was walking home one evening.

An alternative Monterey Aquarium shot too - I just liked the shadows and reflections outside the building.

Seems you had loads of snow Nicky, total white out!
Looking forward to seeing them once fixed.

Hmm, odd - the post preview shows them, and they're public on Flickr.......I'll go through the motions again.

They are there now Nicky, and well worth waiting for. Love them all but for me No 3 is awesome. Thank you. PAUL

Yep all there now Nicky.
I knew these would be worth the wait.
Those divers are not fool, just softies, I have cracked the ice on water lots of times to go diving.
Great, love the 4 heads bobbing on the left of the 1st one to. then the Kayakers shot really works well I think the bright colour adds to this image.
Great work.

I see them perfectly. I love the divers. Looks like great fun to me. And I really like the birds watching the kayak. Lovely splash of color.

Hi Nicky, like all these shots but I have to say the 3rd and 4th are my faves. Can't quite put my finger on it. Probably the light and shadows.

Another great set from Monterey Nicky! Love the detail and colors in the first and the shadows in the third, well done.
