In deed they are! These brown lizards are not native to South Florida, they were brought from Europe (if i remember correctly). But they are cousins of the native kind, which are totally vibrent green. I've been searching hi and low for them (native lizard) but there aren't many in my area. I need to go to Coral Gables area to find them.

I was worried because the neighbors dog was jumping on the fence and barking. Luckily the lizard was more interested with the big black box being pointed at her.
