Default Bells, whistles and... Icicles!

Winter has come. It's hard to see snow here, but this year things are different.

Bells and icicles

My basil lies dead under a shroud of snow and ice

Dead winter

Hey, nice shots. You want advice?? One good bang on the bell should fix the snow and icicles; maybe a glasshouse for the basil.

Otherwise, you seem to have everything under control. Great shots and thank you for sharing them with us, especially those of us that hardly ever see snow and never at this time of year.

The first one is a bit too tight for me, but I really like the second shot with the snow on the dried flower tips.

Thank you all for nice and constructive comments!

@mpascal: you're right on the framing of the first shot, but the bells were surrounded by iron bars. The choice then was between a shot with bars included, or a close-up. I guess I could have tried both, too bad I did not think of it. Thank you for your hint though, very appreciated!

@Ella: do you mean WB stuff or artificial snow or...?

@Kbg: thank you my friend.

These are wonderful! Very nicely done -- beautiful focus, on both the icicles on the bell and the snow on the basil. Thanks for sharing them!
