A Touch of Evil.

In the midst of gloom
Solace shall slither away
A contour divulged as the devil
will enthrall the night with its sway..

Why not just drop the photo in the thread? I'm sure you'll get a lot more responses.

If you're not sure how, there's a great visual guide here.

It is a nice shot though, with warm colours, sharp detail in the f/gnd and nice use of shallow DoF. I don't understand the connotations of 'Evil' though. Perhaps you could explain further?

I don't get it - what's so evil about this?

Sorry for not replying earlier. Been really busy. Anyways thanks for the enquiry.

The object you see there is actually a miniature replica of a hand with symbols engraved on it, which sits on my computer desk. To me (since I've been watching too much horror flicks lately), the symbols looked wicked the other day. The octal-like star seemed like the eyes of a devil in the dark and the part below that looked as if the devil was smiling.
Now the bokeh part in the middle is an illuminated lighter which was in motion.('fire' is supposed to keep evil spirits away according to movies =P)
(*This shot was done by pre-focussing & self-timer by the way* *In P.P. I lowered the exposure a bit)
Since the object is actually a hand, I included "touch" in the title. Pretty crazy stuff, eh? =)

Thanks..
The reason I shared the flickr link is because I wanted people to see the tags of this image so that they wouldn't be confused.
