Default Bird Life...

A gaggle of Geese and two Pied Stilts posed beautifully for me on a recent visit to the Hamilton Lake NZ. We had time to fill in last Monday and took a trip around the Lake observing the birds and the protective behaviour of the Mothers with young...Fascinating...

this is a really pretty picture. I love the blue of the lake, compared with the colours of the geese. very nice. The frame adds to the beauty.
For myself, I would have cropped of the top shore & those buildings, I think they detract from the shot.

Now that is a fine image. You've even got three of the grass stalks in the right f/gnd imitating the geese! Lovely shot and suitably framed, too. I gotta get me some of those plug-ins. oops, apologies if you do your frames by hand.

That is a wonderful photo, Pauline! The framing of the grass in the foreground is just perfect. And you get such a sense of the energy of Spring and new life. Lovely!

Love it Pauline, especially the Stilts in flight. I love bird in motion shots. Great frame too. Must learn how to do that. PAUL
